Prakash Devas Mata Sahib Kaur Hazur Sahib (October 2012)



With the blessing of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Sant Baba Mann Singh Ji Pehowa Wale celebrated the 331st Prakash Devas of Mata Sahib Kaur at Gurdwara Mata Sahib Kaur Ji in Hazur Sahib during October 2012.

Baba Ji arranged a Nagar Kirtan for the sangat of Punjab to leave from Gurdwara Sachkhand Isher Darbar in Pehowa on the 25th October 2012 to arrive at Gurdwara Mata Sahib Kaur Ji in Hazur Sahib on the 29th October 2012.

Hundreds of thousands of Sikhs arrived at Gurdwara Mata Sahib Kaur to make history in what had been the first mass celebration since the birth of the Mother of the Khalsa 331 years ago.

Sant Samprada's, Ragi, Dhadi's, Jathedar Gianni Gurbachan Singh of Sri Akal Thakat Sahib, Jathedar Gianni Iqbal Singh Thakat Sri Patna Sahib, Jathedar Gianni Kulwant Singh of Thakat Sri Hazur Sahib also took part in the mass celebrations.

Arrangement for all accommodation was made at the Asthan of Sant Baba Nidhan Singh namely Gurdwara Langar Sahib where Sant Baba Narinder Singh (Kar Sewa Wale) and Sant Baba Balwinder Singh (Kar Sewa Wale) had made preparation for the hundreds of thousands.

In addition preparations at Gurdwara Mata Sahib Kaur were carried our by Sant Baba Prem Singh Ji. Addressing the sangat Gianni Kulwant Singh of Thakat Sri Hazur Sahib congratulated Sant Baba Mann Singh Ji for celebrating the Prakash Devas of Mata Sahib Kaur at such a mass scale for the first time in history. He further went on to state that even though Sikhs had waited 331 years to arrange such mass celebrations Mata Sahib Kaur would still fulfill the ardasaa of all those taking part.

Baba Ji was presented with a Siropa from Jathedar Giaani Kulwant Singh Ji, Sant Baba Narinder Singh Kar Sewa Wale, Sant Baba Balwinder Singh Kar Sewa Wale and Sant Baba Prem Singh Ji.

Baba Ji stated the programme was only successful with the blessing of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
